    The Twig & Horn Waxed Canvas Crossbody Project Tote is designed for knitters who like to keep everything organized and within reach. 

    Durable yet water‑resistant, the Waxed Canvas Crossbody Project Tote is designed for long-term use. Made from waxed cotton canvas, it’s an economical, animal‑friendly material that’s simple to clean and maintain. Like leather, this fabric is known for its strength and longevity, making it a thoughtful, sustainable choice. Over time, it develops a rich, lived‑in patina—complete with natural marks and scuffs that give it a distinctive, well-crafted character unique to each bag.

    The design allows you to knit on the move without worrying about snags or tangled yarn. Each tote includes a removable zippered Snap Project Bag featuring four yarn‑guide grommets—perfect for separating wound yarn, carrying smaller projects, or safely storing essentials like your phone and wallet. Additional Snap Project Bags are also available separately, making it easier to stay organized when juggling multiple works in progress.

    Spacious enough to hold two larger projects alongside the removable pouch, this tote easily accommodates patterns, interchangeable needle cases, notebooks, and more—keeping everything you need in one well-organized place.

    The tote features sturdy leather shoulder straps along with a detachable, adjustable crossbody strap for versatile carrying. The leather is treated for durability, and light marks can be easily buffed out over time.

    Features

    • Removable zippered project pouch with four yarn guide grommets, great for keeping wound yarn separate or to store accessory projects 
    • Two large sweater projects fit on either side of the center pouch, making the bag a good solution for knitters who like to carry multiple garment WIPs
    • Two roomy pockets on each side of the divider pouch, broken into a 5.5" and 3.5" section, ample space for a phone, pencils, DPNs, notes, and any knitting notions
    • Four spacious pockets on the exterior of the bag, large enough to stick wound yarn inside if using the bag as a "yarn bowl”

    Straps

    • Two oil tanned shoulder straps with a comfortable 10.5" shoulder drop and a removable adjustable cross-body strap
    • 24" - 46" adjustable cross-body strap accommodates a range of body types and wearing heights
    •  Sturdy leather with a hard wearing treatment: superficial scratches and marks can be buffed away easily with a lightly damp rag
