The SEA LOOP TOP is a lightweight knit top featuring CottonWaves, a beautifully textured, wavy yarn from Gepard Garn. Sea Loop Top is designed by Danish Maja Kløvdal who is the designer behind the beautiful knit patterns at Other Loops. The Sea Loop Top is designed with delicate straps and a relaxed silhouette, it’s perfect for layering or wearing on its own.

Yarn used in the pictures: The striped top is knit using col A in Raw White, col B in red, and col C in Marine. The solid-colored top is knit using color Noir.

This top is knit seamlessly from the top down. The front is shaped first, worked flat with increases to form the armholes. Next, stitches are cast on for the back, and the body is worked in the round with gentle increases for a flattering drape. The finishing touch is the elegant i-cord straps, adding a refined detail to this effortless summer piece.

Measurements:
Width: 79 (84) 89 (94) 101 (108) cm, measured under the armhole.
Length: 32 (32) 32 (37) 37 (37) cm, measured from the back.
It is recommended to choose a size with a circumference that is 1–7 cm smaller than your bust measurement for a comfortable fit. The sample shown in the pattern is a size S with -2 cm of negative ease.

Color A:  1 strand CottonWaves from Gepard 50 g / 60 m. 250 (250) 300 (300) 350 (400) g. 

Color B: 1 strand CottonWaves from Gepard 50 g / 60 m. 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) g. 

Color C: 1 strand CottonWaves from Gepard 50 g / 60 m. 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) g. 

If you wish to knit a version with only one-color for the stripes, you will need 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) g for the stripes.

Solid color version: 1 strand Cotton Waves from Gepard 50 g / 60 m.
250 (250-300) 300 (350) 400 (400) g. 

Recommended needles
4.5 mm circular needle (60 and/or 80/100 cm).
4 mm circular needle (60 and/or 80/100 cm).

Gauge: 16 sts x 24 rows in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.
