The Rima Sweater is constructed in stages, beginning with the back piece worked from the neckline down to the lower edge of the armholes. Stitches are then picked up along each shoulder to work the two front sections separately, knitting from the top down toward the front neckline. Once both fronts are complete, they are joined and worked to the armhole depth. At that point, the front and back are united and the body is continued seamlessly in the round down to the hem. Sleeves and the neckband are finished by picking up stitches and knitting them into place.
