Inspire a Mind Hand-Dyed Yarn
DK Baby Suri Alpaca & Merino
An absolutely stunning blend of my new DK weight Baby Suri alpaca, Merino blend (with 4% Polyamide to bind yarn) from Peru. This blend of this yarn is incredibly soft with a delicate airy halo and an altogether heavenly look and feel. This can be used on its own, but also as a companion thread to a bulky project like PetiteKnit's "Marble Sweater". This Baby Suri alpaca blend is a perfect alternative to people who are sensitive to mohair.

All my hand-dyed yarns are smaller dye-lots and each hand-dyed yarns I create, are unique. I recreate some of the basic hand-dyed colors, but they are still slightly different from the previous dye-lots - the same way mass produced yarns are. Even within one dye-lot, some skeins might have more of one color than the next - especially the hand-painted colors. The colors you see on the monitor/screen do match real life colors. I am happy to take custom colors orders too.
The DK weight blend has a slightly different fiber combination than my Baby Suri alpaca/Silk Lace weight yarns. This Suri Alpaca/Merino combination has a more rustic look, because it has less shine. Without silk, all yarns has less shine.
The alpaca is sources from alpaca in Peru that are treated humanely.
