More about Pima Cotton
The extra long fibers are included in the group of cotton called ELS (extra long staple). The long fibers of the cotton increases the quality and causes, that they do not fray as easy – also known as peeling tendency. This makes Pima cotton very lasting, and a durable cotton of the finest quality. Pima cotton has higher strengths and durability than almost any other cotton, furthermore, it is more resistant to shrinkage and fading.
Because of the long fibers of the Pima cotton, the yarn does not need to be twisted/plied as many times - and the yarn remains soft.
The Pima cotton is coloured according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® in solid and unique colours, specially made for CaMaRose.

Care
The finished work can be washed in the washing machine at 30-40 C with a detergent for cotton / Lay flat to dry.
Pima cotton keeps well in use and after washing, and does not get hard after getting washed. I have a lot of customers statement on this by now. Just like it is important to wash wool with the correct detergent, it is just as important to wash cotton with the right detergent, containing enzymes and is specially developed for cotton.
