12 (14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27) skeins Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light (50% Super Fine Alpaca, 50% Peruvian Wool: 50g; 144 yds/133 meters).

Needles
US 6 / 4 mm 32" circular needle
US 8 / 5 mm 32" circular needle (this larger needle is for the 2nd portion of the collar ONLY)

Gauge
24 sts and 36 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch on smaller needles. 
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
