The VILLA WRAP is a cozy, textured cardigan featuring a combination of seed stitch and elegant vertical knit lines for a timeless look.

This seamless design is worked from the top down, eliminating the need for finishing work. It begins with the back yoke, followed by picking up stitches along the shoulders to shape the right and left front yokes. These sections are then joined at the armholes, and the body is worked flat. The front edges and collar are seamlessly integrated in twisted rib, adding a refined touch to the design. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to create the sleeves, which are worked in the round for a polished finish.

The amount of positive ease you prefer in a cardigan is a personal choice. Measuring a few of your favorite cardigans can help determine the best fit. The VILLA WRAP has 37 cm of positive ease for a relaxed, oversized look, but a fit with 20 cm of positive ease can also work well, depending on individual preferences.

For a different length than what’s listed for your size, simply follow the length instructions for another size.
Example: If knitting size 2 but preferring the 59 cm length of size 4, knit the body to 56 cm before starting the ribbing as instructed for size 4. When working the front edge, follow the size 4 instructions, as the stitch count depends on the body length.
