This Merino wool is a soft and versatile luxury yarn of extra fine (19.5 microns) merino wool that feels soft and gentle against the skin; suitable for children's and baby clothes.
The yarns are worsted spun from extra long staple fibers to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel. Very soft and springy, the 4 plies and twist provide extra robustness.

BFL fiber is fine, silky, lustrous and strong - an incredibly versatile fiber. BFL yarns are naturally soft but they are also good for items that are subject to wear such as socks, mittens, sweaters and hats. They drape well without heaviness due to the natural crimp of the fiber and, with long staple fibres, these yarns are less prone to pilling than many wools. The natural shine of BFL also emphasises the shape of stitches so is ideal for textured stitches and cables.
