Fibres of Life
About Fibres of Life - Wool & Felt
Fibres of Life traces its origins to an unplanned stop in Kathmandu, Nepal, where founder Jenn Pullin stepped off a bus and wandered into a fair trade artisan collective. A casual purchase of handmade goods turned into a lasting mission to make products that are beautiful, practical, and closely tied to both people and the planet.
The brand is now a design-led fair trade label offering vibrant felted wool bags, organizers, eco-friendly home goods, wool dryer balls, maker accessories, and naturally tanned leather items, all handmade by artisans in Nepal. Fibres of Life partners with Fair Trade Federation aligned businesses and WFTO member artisan groups, supporting ethical production, safe workplaces, and dependable livelihoods.
Its guiding belief is that ethical products should win people over through design and quality first. Fibres of Life sees fair trade as something modern, stylish, and lively. Working with natural wool, non-toxic azo-free dyes, and naturally tanned leather, the company develops pieces with a distinctive color palette, useful details, and durable construction. Each item is crafted by hand and carries the story of the artisan who made it, reflecting the conviction that considered design can make a genuine difference.
