GREAT gift idea!  In this kit I "married" one skein of the beautiful Brooklyn Tweed Dapple - a beautiful soft blend of American Merino wool/ and organic Cotton from Texas with one skein of my hand-dyed Baby Suri Alpaca/Silk for a project of your creation. The kit also includes a set of needle protectors and a one-time use of Eucalan Wool wash pod.

I suggest you create anything you can imagine with the lovely combination. The yarn in the kit is enough an original Sophie Scarf or a pair of fingerless gloves.

Dye Process
Dapple’s blend of Merino wool and organic cotton is dyed in the skein with traditional wool dyes. Only the wool in the yarn absorbs color, leaving speckles of undyed organic cotton scattered throughout each skein to create gently heathered hues with an engaging tonal effect. Experiment with fades, ombres and nuanced colorwork in your knitting – Dapple’s darker colorways tend to display greater variability of tone, while lighter colorways are more softly shaded.
