Basic Sweater (Printed)
THIS IS A PRINTED PATTERN.
The Basic Sweater is designed by Trine Bertelsen of CaMaRose.
The sweater is worked top down on circular needles with short row neck shaping to give it a better fit. As you go, change to a longer circular needle when necessary. The sleeves are worked on double pointed needles or a circular needle for a small circumference, maximum 40 cm.
The pattern can be knit with 3 different gauges. To ensure that your sweater will come out with the right fit, it is therefore recommended to knit a swatch before casting on. If you gauge is just one stitch off per 10 cm, the bust circumference on the finished sweater can vary with no less than 7 cm. If you do not get gauge, try again with smaller or bigger needles. This sweater has a bit of positive ease. Measure the widest point of your chest and add 10 cm to find your size. When you know both your gauge and you bust circumference plus 10 cm, choose which size to knit.
