Økologisk Hverdagsuld by CaMaRose is a hidden gem among DK-weight organic wools, spun in Denmark with exceptional quality. This 5-ply yarn is a dream for colorwork and pairs beautifully with other fibers. This non-superwash yarn offers the perfect balance of softness and purity—if you’re searching for a wool that’s both natural and luxurious, this is the one!

This yarn falls within the DK-light weight category but can also be used for sport-weight patterns. With its classic wool, structure, durability, and the fibers’ ability to absorb large amounts of moisture without feeling wet, Økologisk Hverdagsuld is an obvious choice for knitting sweaters, cardigans and mittens, that must be able to cope with colder climates. 

Fiber Content: 100% Organic Wool
NOTE: Hverdagsuld changes drastically after being soak/blocked. After blocking a finished project, it can become inches longer. It is typical for non-superwash organic yarn. This blooms into a stunning rich texture.

Unit Weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Gauge: 21.0 to 22.0 sts = 4 inches. The recommended gauge is 20 – 22 sts x 30 rows and the recommended needle sizes are 3.5 – 4 mm.
Needle Size: US 2 - 6 or 3 - 4mm

Care: Machine wash on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. We always recommend hand washing when you can.
