Trine Bertelsen is the owner, designer and creative mastermind behind

In 2010 Trine started a small company called Strikkebogen and with her experience as a knitting and crochet designer she designed beautiful patterns for babies and children. At the end of 2010 Trine started importing her first yarns from Peru. Her collection started with Pima Cotton and Lamauld 1/2 and since that, Trine's beautiful yarn collection has blossomed into a successful business.

Trine's 3 children have inspired her to design and create her yarn collection and they continue to be her daily source of inspiration. In 2015 when she changed her business name from Strikkebogen to, the new name was 100% inspired by the abbreviation of her 3 children's names, Carl-Emil, Mathilde and Anna-Rose.

From the beginning, Trine's mission has been clear for CaMaRose; designing/manufacturing/ her own brand of yarns at affordable prices, while maintaining high quality. It is also Trine's priority to cooperate with suppliers who comply with ethical and environmental practices towards animals and the environment in the production of yarns. Lastly, Trine wants to keep designing knitting and crochet patterns that are easy to follow, reflect the cultural trends of the time, while using her own exquisite yarn collection.

I LOVE CaMaRose yarns and I am beyond excited to sell them in my yarn shop.
