This singles yarn is next to skin soft, slightly fuzzy and has a beautiful pearly luster due to the fineness of the mohair used. The mohair is not brushed but the singles construction allows the mohair fibers to bloom and form a delicate halo around the strand. It knits up into warm and lightweight items.

Affordable luxury. Extrafine superwash merino wool is blended with superkid mohair for a supersoft, plump yarn with next to the skin softness.  Perfect for luxurious jumpers, socks, gloves and shawls.

This yarn is extremely soft because of the extrafine merino and superkid mohair we use. The softness of mohair is the main determining factor of its quality. Superkid mohair is from the first shearing and these are the softest and finest fibers the mohair goats will ever produce. The second shearing is usually called kid mohair and is still of fine quality, but is not as soft as superkid mohair.
