The Amesbury Cardigan by Coco Amour Knitwear offers a modern twist on a classic look with its saddle shoulder design. This top-down cardigan starts with the shoulders, working each side separately and holding stitches for the sleeves. Next, stitches are picked up along the back and worked in rows, then joined at the underarms.

The body is knit flat to your desired length and finished with ribbing. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes, shaped with short rows, and tapered with decreases before adding ribbing.

A double-knit button band with buttonholes completes the look, along with ribbing at the neckline, giving it a tailored, timeless finish.
